NURSING HOME RÖMERGARTEN-
RESIDENZEN HAUS CAROLIN

Just a few months after we completed the Quality Triathlon® in the nursing home, Haus Carolin Römergarten, considerable progress could be observed. The nursing home  scored “excellent” in the inspection carried out by the inspector from the Medical Service of the German Public Health System. Here is the interview with the nursing home director, Ms Monika Schmechel, praising the value of our work. (YouTube video)

YASKAWA ITALIA

We trained a multi-functional team to implement continuous improvement processes following a “bottom-up” approach. Employees involved in the workflow were given the opportunity to make suggestions for improvement. This resulted in increased efficiency, optimized workplace organization, and improved team spirit and cohesion. (PDF)

THAMARAI EMBROIDERIES – INDIA

Knowledge sharing, cross-functional teamwork, and creative, proactive employees are valued at Thamarai Embroideries in Chennai, India in order to reach peak performance in their artistic creations, which exhibit outstanding creativity and high quality standards. This company requested consultation with our group in order to assist them in locating European markets for their products. (YouTube video)

FIAT GROUP

The project “Health & Safety First”, WCM Pillar Safety, Steps 1−6, involved 22.000 employees of the FIAT Group, from top management to shop floor workers, over a period of 3 years. This project followed a bottom-up approach. We provided the training design, trained the trainers, and coordinated the project. In 2013, the project was honoured with a “Best Practice Award“ from the Italian Ministry of Labour.

THE ITALIAN MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

A group of Italian diplomats working all over the world were trained to become safety managers in their embassies. This picture shows the participants at the train-the-trainer course in front of the Auditorium Manlio Brosio in the Park of Villa Madama in Rome, Italy. We created the training concept, the training design, and provided the classroom training (in collaboration Consorzio Competenza in Azione).

THE ITALIAN TRADE UNION “FIOM“

We provided a training course to 15 members of the Italian Trade Union FIOM in Rome, Italy. The objective was to increase the participants’ knowledge and skills in participative management. All the union members who we trained highly appreciated the Betzavta methodology that had been adapted to their specific needs.

THE ITALIAN PARLAMENT

We designed and delivered a training course tailored to the specific needs of 22 health and safety officers working at the Italian Parliament in Rome (in collaboration with Consorzio Competenza in Azione).

CABI SRL

Managers and supervisors of CABI srl (automotive industry, Vauda Canavese, Italy) were trained to provide professional inhouse training and mentoring to their employees. We developed the training design and the templates for the learning material to be used for the inhouse training, and supervised their first inhouse trainings. (*)

CAMPARI SPA

To be successful, foreign assignments need appropriate cross-cultural preparation. We prepared the managers of Campari-Milano Spa in Novi Ligure, Italy for their assignments in Canada, providing specific cross-cultural training and coaching to enable them to manage cultural differences smoothly.

ITALIAN TRADE UNIONS “FIM-CISL“

Work organization and competitiveness were the topics of this workshop in Florence, Italy, at the training center of the trade union FIM-CISL. We provided the training design and the classroom training sessions. (*)

RESPECTFUL AND ASSERTIVE COMMUNICATION

This workshop was offered to managers and trainers of various enterprises in Turin, Italy. The participants learned how to communicate critiques and criticisms respectfully, focusing on solutions, rather than highlighting the problems.

PLM SYSTEMS

Presenting in a professional manner was the objective of this inhouse workshop at PLM Systems in Turin, Italy. Twelve ITC experts learned how to present their products and services in a professional and convincing way. Every participant gave short presentations and was videotaped. The individual feedback and coaching on how to improve was very much appreciated by the participants.

JOINT TRAINING EVENTS FOR CANADIAN AND ITALIAN TRADE UNIONS

We organized workshops in three cities in Italy for the Italian and Canadian trade unions with the objective of fostering knowledge-sharing. By exchanging their experiences in participative work organization and Health & Safety in the workplace, representatives from UNIFOR, Canada and from FIM−FIOM−UILM, Italy had the opportunity to learn from each other and to develop new ideas across borders. SORIN SPA

We organized an offsite meeting and provided tailormade training for a newly-formed engineering team from Sorin spa, a global medical device company. The aim of the training was to inspire creative thinking, encourage team building and developing a structured approach to problem-solving. The participants shared with us that they were inspired and empowered by the creative and playful approach of the training. (*)

REGIONAL GOVERNMENT OF EMILIA-ROMAGNA, ITALY

We supported delegations during visits to other countries and helped them with advice on cross-cultural issues, communication and negotiation skills.
